Kelly Carrigan
At Carrigan Farms in Mooresville — just 30 minutes north of Charlotte — Kelly Carrigan runs the farm-to-table restaurant and catering operation. Her commitment to using fresh ingredients picked right off the farm and skill at mixing flavors help her create delicious farm-to-table dishes.
Kelly is a graduate of Mooresville High School and North Carolina State University, where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy. With over twenty-five years of farming and agritourism experience, Kelly uses her background to cultivate fun and memorable customer experiences.
Kelly also holds her Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Winston-Salem State University and is a registered nurse. She utilizes her healthcare background to lead the farm’s staff and guest health and safety initiatives and aquatics program. Her years spent as an intensive care nurse, emergency room nurse and certified case manager, plus her work as a lifeguarding instructor trainer, are instrumental in ensuring that all staff and guests have a safe and enjoyable experience on the land and in the water.
When she’s not working, Kelly enjoys spending time with family.
