Apple Picking

Apple picking begins Tuesday, September 3, 2024

Looking for the authentic apple picking experience? Look no farther than Carrigan Farms. Conducted every September since 1975, our tractor-drawn apple orchard hayrides are the authentic pick-your-own experience! The apple trees are on dwarf rootstock, meaning they are short, so no ladders are needed for picking. We ask that all apple pickers wear appropriate clothing and footwear for being on a working farm. Closed toed shoes or boots are recommended.

In September, each hayride includes a trip to the apple orchard where everyone gets to pick a half-peck bag of apples. Reservations are required for apple picking and the cost of apple picking is $15.00 per person for everyone ages 2 and above. Young babies 23 months and under are free; however, they do not get a bag of apples.

Beginning September 3rd and lasting through September 22nd, apple picking hayrides will be available – please check the “Book Now” button for a calendar of dates and times. A $5 non-refundable deposit is due per person at the time of booking and then $10 more is due at the door. The farm only accepts cash or check for payment at the door. Please note that our apple season only lasts about eighteen days and the best selection is earliest in the season.

To schedule a school field trip, please contact us. Include your preferred date/ time, # of students, and contact information in the email.
