Fall Field Trips

Looking for an authentic farm field trip? Carrigan Farm hosts field trips in September and October for pick-your-own apples and pumpkins.

Conducted every September since 1975, our tractor-drawn hayrides are the authentic pick-your-own experience!

In September, we offer apple picking. The apple trees are on dwarf rootstock, meaning they are short, so no ladders are needed for picking. A hayride takes groups to and from the apple orchard and includes a half peck back of apples.

In October, we offer pumpkin picking. Take a tractor-drawn hayride to the pumpkin patch itself and pick a pumpkin right off the vine! The field trip takes a hayride to and from the pumpkin patch and includes a pumpkin from the pumpkin patch!
