The Quarry at Carrigan Farms is a granite stone quarry. Initially, it was mined for the granite stone. Later, when a natural spring was uncovered, it filled with clear, blue water. The Quarry’s water is used to irrigate the strawberry, apple, pumpkin and vegetable crops at Carrigan Farms.
The water is twenty-five feet deep and the temperature of the water in the summer is very refreshing, making it ideal for swimming. A white sand beach and lush green lawn surround the water.
From mid-February through late December, The Quarry hosts outdoor special events and gatherings such as company picnics, weddings or wedding receptions, Christmas and holiday parties, convention gatherings, corporate parties, proms, formals, graduation parties, quinceañeras, bar mitzvahs, bat mitzvahs, and swim parties.
The Quarry has a large covered pavilion. In the warmer months the covered pavilion is open-air and has no sides. In the late fall, winter and early spring, the pavilion is enclosed and heated.
Delicious farm-to-table meals are prepared by The Quarry’s catering team with seasonal fresh fruits and vegetables grown on the farm.
The natural beauty of the blue water and sky, gray granite cliffs and white sugar sand beach create a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. Pictures and words attempt, but fall short, of capturing the magical beauty of The Quarry, which will amaze both you and your guests.
